Your PTA Hard at Work: New Planners for All Middle School Students 

We’re excited to share that the PTA designed and provided custom planners for all our middle school students this year!

These planners are designed to support and enhance the great systems already happening in our classrooms by helping students build skills in organization, time management, goal setting, and reflection.

Designed in partnership with the ACCESS' Middle School Success teacher, these planners aim to give kids a sense of ownership over their learning - and maybe even make tracking assignments fun.

Why use a planner?

Using a planner helps students stay organized and take charge of their learning - skills that become more important (and empowering!) in middle school, and critical in high school. 

The best way for these planners to succeed is for everyone - teachers, students, and parents - to make them a part of their daily and weekly habits. The Weekly Tasks pages are the main pages where students can track their assignments and homework. There's a spot at the bottom of each week for parents to note that they've reviewed the week with their student.

We hope this tool becomes a go-to resource for students, families, and teachers alike as we navigate the year together.
