About the PTA
The mission of the PTA “is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.” ACCESS PTA’s goal is to provide a vibrant and positive learning environment and support the school, students, staff, and caregivers. We rely on our volunteers to engage the community, to fundraise, and to help provide the support for students to excel.
The ACCESS PTA is made up of a 6-person volunteer executive board PLUS a vast and vibrant group of parent and teacher volunteers who pool their talents to provide practical support, and are integral to making a myriad of things happen. Questions? Contact the board at board@accessacademypta.org

Meetings
PTA Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month from 7:00-8:00pm, via Google Meet, unless otherwise indicated. Please mark your calendars with the following dates as we hope to see as many as possible at these meetings!

Jory has three children at ACCESS, a 3rd, 5th and 7th grader. This is her fourth year as a PTA Treasurer (2nd at ACCESS and 2 years at her neighborhood school). She loves data and numbers (and money!) so this is a great role for her. Jory used to conduct research on protein and DNA functional dynamics and then pivoted into software and data engineering. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, being active and Macgyvering things around her house. |

Eliz has one student at ACCESS in 3rd grade, and another child in 1st grade at a different school. She loves organizing community events, looking for mushrooms, exploring libraries and bookstores, and cooking with her cookbook club.

Holly has two kids at ACCESS: one in 5th and one in 3nd grade. She also has another child in first this year at their neighborhood school. She also is a new cat mom to 2 cats (Harriett the Spy and Otto von Popsicle) and a longtime dog mom to Hatcher. She enjoys skiing, biking, musical theater. |
